First, you would need to log into the cloud based planogram software. Here we are using Nexgen POG as an example.

1. How to set the name and type of a planogram?

Let's get started! After signing in to the planogram software, create a new planogram by clicking on to "Create new planogram." Here you can set the planogram name, the type of the planogram and the type of the equipment. You can either choose from the fixture template or go for custom dimensions. You will be then taken to the planogram designer section.

2. How to Add or Edit Fixtures?

You can now start designing planograms!

Go to properties section and you can change or adjust the height, depth, width and many more fields for a perfect planogram. You can also add or remove fixtures. You are not satisfied with the default colour? Yes, you can easily move to the colour of your choice by adjusting the colour properties in the background, base, border and sections of the shelf.

3. How to add products on to shelves? It’s actually simple!

You can add as many products as you like to your product bin before you use them on your planogram design. There is an improved search feature which helps you to find and add the desired product to your product bin.

Now place the products on the shelf by just dragging and dropping them. Right clicking will let you go to the properties and you can choose the number of facings of products to be placed.

You can also use “spread even” feature to align products in place. Once you are done with the planogram design, you can export the design to any image formats or pdf format and share it among your peers. Anyone can view the image you share with them and not necessarily the one with a planogram license.
