Job Summary:

Test Engineer required for Nexgen. Candidate must have 3-5 years of experience in Software testing- Manual & Automation, Job role will be to Collaborate with developers to improve overall product quality by emphasizing defect prevention throughout the development process. Participate in the creation and enhancement of the continuous integration platform used to test all our projects. Should be able to provide technical support to teams within the organization and external clients when required. Testing every time when changes are made to the code to fix defects. Updating project managers regularly about the progress of testing activities. Perform traceability of functional requirements, system use cases, and user stories.

Required Skills:

• 3-5 years of experience in Software testing- Manual & Automation. 
• Test Case Design, Test Tool usage, Test execution, Defect Management, and Defect Tracking.    
• Experience with GUI Testing, Cross browser testing, regression testing, Integration testing.    
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process and knowledge in defect management tool Jira.    
• Strong experience in quality assurance processes, SDLC and STLC, knowledge of SQL.    
• Knowledge of SQL    
• Good communication, technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.     
• Knowledge of Automation Testing - Selenium / Java is an added advantage.    
• Able to handle multiple projects at a time. 

Credentials and Experience: 

• Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Master of Computer Applications (MCA), B.Sc. (CS), BCA or higher.   
• 3-5 years of experience in Software testing- Manual & Automation.
• Equivalent combination of education and work experience.
