LEAD APPLICATION DEVELOPER (DOT NET / SQL SERVER)

Job Summary: 
Lead application developer for an American software company’s offshore development facility in Cochin. Candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in working with Microsoft Dot Net and related technologies. Candidate must be well experienced in SQL Server 2005 database design, stored procedure design and related technologies. Excellent communication skills and must be able work independently with guidance from a project manager. Must be able to provide technical guidance to other programmers and conduct code reviews.

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of object oriented design patterns and methodologies
  • Experienced in developing multi-layer windows and web applications (presentation, business, and data access layers)
  • Thorough knowledge of ASP.NET, AJAX and ADO.NET techniques
  • Expertise with Web Services, XML and other related technologies
  • Familiar with Visual Studio 2003/2005 and Visual SourceSafe tools
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with C# / VB.NET
  • Knowledge of HTML and JavaScript
  • Experience in developing SQL Server stored procedures and triggers
  • SQL server Reporting Services 
  • Understands relational database concepts
  • Performs other related duties as required

 

Credentials and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Master of Computer Applications (MCA) or higher
  • Five years or more of experience as a software developer in the above mentioned technologies.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
